Thing is.

It has the factory PPP pack and a lot of recent work with receipts including belts, bearing, tensioner, clutch, brakes and 4 tyres...

Been struggling to find better for a better price?

Sounds ok to me, you may find one cheaper but not with all the recent work and new ish tyres and brakes, clutch, cambelt he's spent best part of £2k in the last year, full history and low owners for the year.

£3000 is only the asking price, if you can knock a few hundred off then i recon it's ok, i wouldn't let the miles bother me as long as it's been looked after, which by the sounds of it, it has.

its only done 109k!
if the car has been looked after properly then i cant see why it wont go past 150k+ without any issues.
If the car had obvious signs of abuse or silly things fitted like dumpvalves or boostvalves and the owner was a uggish chav then I would be walking away very quickly!

What is wrong with people nowadays mileage is not such a big deal if a car is looked after! My missus audi A3 has 145k on it and drives lovely my JDM STi has 96k and it does not bother me one bit!

Nothing wrong with me why buy 100k car when theres many many out there with alot less just because its had tyres and a clutch means nothing tyres could be wonglee clutch id want to know if thats its 2nd clutch in which respect its done 2 clutches in 100k
fair play for the audi but its still done 145k thats still alot of miles regardless

109k for an 11yr old car is not high miles, and one clutch in 100k is fine, i have had to change the clutch on my isuzu trooper @ 85k and know of cars that have them changed at half that.

Good luck, sounds a straight car, and the add is reasonably well written given the standard of the usual ones we see on here.

its over priced by about 500 quid but if you can haggle that down then it may be worth going for.
Still keep on looking though, you do get the odd bargain come up now and again
