Anybody got any mpg figures for 93/94 WRX import.... what should i expect

 

I have a 94 WRX Wagon 74K miles, it averges 24/25 MPG but I do mainly motorway mileage, when I venture into town it drops to about 20MPG, SUL makes the car considerably smoother.

 

I also have a 94WRX, and agree with Bruce. But mine drops below 20 fairly often, but the car is used mostly for pleasure.

Reckon on 20-24, or 240 miles per 50 litre tank

 

On a long journey I get 28 mpg and my daily commute of 80 miles (round) I get about 22 mpg (half motorway, rest mix of town and twisty country roads). Pain in the neck having such a small tank as I fill up nearly every 2 days. (once got 53 litres in the tank though, so I am puzzled as to it's size - 93L WRX)

thats not bad i have just done a mpg test to check what the lamba sensors like like and ye ha we got 30.1 mpg out of our my97 catalunya.

Not a lot if you drive it right Mine's done between 28 and down to about 15 while having fun. Like Neil said, if you worried about fuel buy a diesel

 

Neil's figures are about right. I personally dont give a stuff about MPG though. I didnt buy this thing to save petrol

Mods taken it to 16mpg

Driving at the ring 8mpg.

Smiles per gallon is very high.
