Storing Scoob
Hi guys
I'm storing my scooby today as it shot a rod through the top of the block until I can get the funds together to rebuild her. Question is I'm going to disconnect the battery and was wondering if there would be anything else I would need to do as its going to be there a couple of months? Also I don't know the code for the keypad in the glove box, Is that going to cause a problem when connecting the battery back up? Thanks for reading answers would be muchly appreciated guys.

The handbook only tells you how to change the pin if you have your existing pin.
I had a quick search and came across this

the code can be got from Subaru dealership however they may want to see the logbook before they hand the code to you.
as already suggested though, leave battery connected every 2 weeks leave it on charge over night.

Mine has been in my garage for over a year now. The only problems I had was the calipers sticking to the discs and the rusty bits around the car getting worse.
My battery is disconnected, but every week i reconnect it and run the engine for 30 mins.
I found that if I unloaded a can of WD40 in the engine bay and around the brakes then that stopped things rusting and sticking.
I never had any problems with starting the car with the key fob, and I have never had to use the pin code pad. But having the pin code is a good backup plan if you can get it.

Mines been off the road for 4 months and battery disconected hooked up today immobilser worked fine and is a sigma.
I didn't think it would just "forget" it's code.
But as above handbrake off. I'd put on stands aswell stop getting flats on the tyres
