Default Td04 hybrid

Hi all

Came across this forum so thought I would join

Here is a question. I have a td04 at the moment on my 98 uk spec.
I think the seals have gone

Been reading in here about a guy called tony or something who sells a td04 hybrid. Are there good and will it bolt straight on with no issues?

What Bhp gains will there be?

Need one pretty quick!!

Ps sorry if posted in wrong place, learning my way round

Cheers people's

If your looking to change the turbo short term then get another TD04. I think Andy Forrest does a Hybrid TD04 but if you go down that route you will need to get the car remapped. The 98 UK cars are not mappable so your would either need an ESL daughter board or a standalone ECU which is mappable. Change like for like now unless you have really deep pockets

Thanks for the replies

So I Defo need a remap then with the hybrid? I'm sure
You can appreciate that so many people say different things on forums . Some people have said it will bolt straight on and no need for remap.

So Defo need remap then?

Give Andy a call (from the link already posted) I would say yes due to the boost is going to come in different to a stock TD04.
