Default Spoiler respray price

Hi,

I have a spoiler currently in white that I want to change to red, it's similar to the STI spoiler just not quite as aggressive, what sort of price am I looking at for a professional job? I've never used a car sprayer before so don't want my pants pulled down on pricing!

Cheers

Do you mean fitting it aswell?

Painting only, I'd say around £100 for a good job.

Fitting perhaps £50.

I would say ball park figure anyways. If they start with £300 upwards, pull your pants up and walk away!

Automotive paint isn't cheap per litre, then the lacquer of course. But I'd go to £150 tops personally for just painting / lacquer only.

Get some pics up when it's done......can't think of what spoiler you mean.

A lot will depend on how much prepping it will need. Spraying only would be around £100, Prepping could easily add another £100.

If the spoilers off the car and all it needs is prepping and painting wed charge about £100, if we had to remove it and refit it itll be about £130-150.

At most you only need half a litre of paint to paint a spoiler, youd get some paint back for touch ups aswell.
