im not sure what the ppp kit consists of but if the exhaust manifold part is changed to equal lengh pipes that will mean you loose the burble where as standard ones have unequal lengh which gives it the real nice burble sound only thing i can think of really... having said that if that is the reason you dont get a real nice burble sound then changing back to the unequal length pipe will mean BHP decrease

dont just take my word on it though i am no mechanic, others may have a different idea!

Decat down pipe, de-resonated centre and an after market back box

Hayward and Scott get my vote, nice and deep on idle and growls when on the loud pedal

You want a different back box for a start for a louder burble, I went for a real small can on the rear of mine for a louder burble, for the full noise your gonna want a full system which consists of:-

Sti up pipe - will take away the cat of the wrx up pipe
Wide mouth down pipe
Full 2.5/3" system from down pipe back which will take away the centre cat on the car also ( you have 2 cats just incase you didn know )

Bear in mind if you do go the de-cat route the car will need to be mapped.

There are plenty of exhausts, spoilers etc for sale in the breaking section, there are a few options there, just browse them all and see what takes your fancy.

The at will have unequal length manifolds / headers as standard, equal length only came on the jdm models, as said above if you remove the standard headers for equal length you loose the burble but will gain more torque, but your way way off needing to do that so don't even entertain the idea IMO

Full 3" decat system + On mine changing the standard headers to RCM made the biggest difference, didnt make it louder, but so much deeper with a real nice rumble.

3" turboback did it for me, no resonators makes idle sound a little harsh but in gear sounds fantastic, in my opinion of course!

H&S are very good, a real good group buy at the moment as below, they need 6 orders to proceed.

I've got a decat up-pipe, ninja sports cat , ninja 2 exhaust and it sounds awesome , I do put the bung in on longer journeys though as it can be a bit loud .

What does it sound like with a sports cat in? I duno weather to go full decat or get a sports cat down pipe but i dont want it to sound raspy.. so thinking the sports cat option would be the best. Have you got a video? Thanks Paul

The sports cat in mine is the one supplied by Prodrive in the PPP, and it fitted bang on as the Blitz Nur spec R tapers down to 2.5" to fit to the standard down pipe.
