Also does anyone know how much stronger a spec c block is over a standard sti 7/8 scdb. What power can they handle before they need pinning etc?

Thanks

Spec C rods and V7/8 STi rods are the same, as I know. Any 130.5mm STi rod will hold up to 500bhp easily, they are quite meaty. The Spec C V7/8 and jdm sti V7/8 EJ207 engine blocks are the same. The new jdm GRB (2007+) EJ207 engine block got a bit thicker cylinder walls.

The number on the block reads S20CL if that means anything.
