Could water have got into the electrics? Did you disconnect the battery before doing it?

dont think so mate as at the time i had a cover over the fusebox as had been painting little bit in engine bay nite before also was the bottom rad hose so really the water just went down the way was more steam to be honest and it had plenty of water in it before hand i tried turning it over for a while probably flooded it doing it pretty fuked off tbh would the temp sensor cause it mibee to fail after this just guessing really

battery in boot and fusebox in centre console so no chance of gettin water in the electrics tbh as no wires anywhere near that corner
