Default These any good?

Evening all.

Found these on ebay, close to me too which is a bonus, any good?

Never been one for gauges, but fancy some. Are these priced well, or too much? Thinking about whacking in an offer.

Also, where should I get a pod from for them if I win?

Item number: 300840520200

Would be nice to have some more opinions though, if there are better out there, ease of installation, value for money etc.

Why waste their time? It states clearly in the ad;

NO silly offers, these sell every day for this amount, not open for negotiation, priced is to sell.

Great attitude there buddy... especially in the last post you seemed set on committing to offer.

If you want more info, use the search engine and you will find out that these are very popular and you may even get tips on selling price and how to fit them thrown in for free.

I never fail to be amazed at items being sold, in this instance on eBay, and someone who is interested massively reduces their chances of getting a bargain by freely advertising it to those who are potentially most interested....

Free advertisement is sometimes good, however. When worded correctly

Call me cynical but I wouldn't be surprised if the OP was the one selling the gauges.

It did occur to me but I'm sure 9 times out of 10 they just don't think things through.

Still, gives others a chance....

Free advertisement? Don't think so, or is it a coincidence that there is more than 1 Subaru owner in Inverness?

And the point in that would be? If I had gauges, I would not be looking to buy, and if I had defi's as per the ebay sale, I wouldn't be looking to buy.

By 'they' are you referring to individuals from Scotland? I would hope not.

AND, to make something perfectly clear to all who have posted since the first 2 replies (Thanks again boys)

After reading the 'snipes' from others, and on other threads, why is someone who asks for advice, or information regarding a product/service, they are promptly shot down and ridiculed?

I have owned my car for a good time now, and previous for over 3 years, but never used gauges. However, as this one has now had a lot of work done, I feel the need to delve into the market for some gauges, as I am aware of the number of Impreza owners who have them. THE reason I am after advice is the fact that to me, that is a lot of money, especially at this time of year, and need to know if they are the best around, to justify me spending so much.

So kindly, if you have something constructive to add to my original questions, please do so. If not, don't post.

Thanks

I would love to just be able to commit, but do have the 'long haired general' to negotiate things with first, so before I do, I need to know if they are the best available, as I wouldn't fancy being ripped off, again (Like rays wheel nuts and HKS SSQV)

Only asked originally as a gauge setup is not something I have had before, so it's uncertain territory for me.
