You would have thought that the buyer would have given you the chance to sort out the problem before threatening you with negative feedback.

That is the reasonable thing to do, anyway

Show MSG to eBay and they will delete it if he gives you neg feedback as its classed as blackmail and eBay does not condone this as you have tried to refund him.

As you're a seller you would have received Detailed Seller Ratings as part of this buyer's feedback, please bear in mind that these will also be removed and your scores will be recalculated.
Miley Osborne
I have investigated your report and I can confirm that I have taken the appropriate action.

All for a £Fiver?

Surely, life is too short?

However, feedback is worth more - well done for sticking it to the buyer, he/she will have fallen out of their Council House bed

Nope, I sold 2 engine mounts on eBay about 7 months ago and I know they were good but instantly the buyer threatened me with reporting me & bad feedback saying one was damaged and he wanted a full refund so he got free engine mounts because I was on holiday and couldn't be bothered to argue

I now refuse to sell on eBay due to tossers like him and this buyer.

I had a buyer bid over £400 on a quad bike I was selling for my step son. When I asked for the deposit he said he was abroad on holiday and that he couldn't give a deposit, nor could he collect it for three weeks! Then he said he'd pay when he returned ....... I'm still waiting and it's cost me £30 as eBay consider it sold!

What a pain in the a*se.

I've sold mainly motorcycle parts more than anything else on Ebay and have never had a problem with awkward buyers, thankfully.

Just the luck of the draw, I suppose!

It does work both ways though....I've had problems with two sellers and ebay said it wasn't a problem.

One listed an item for sale by auction, with a P&P of £25. he was ten miles from me. I messaged him to ask if I could pay cash and pick it up, he messaged back yes, but he still wanted his £25 P&P.
Apparently this is OK.......

Second one had an item for sale, no start price. It was standing at £130 with two days to go, three bids on it. He removed it from sale, cancelled all our bids, and promptly relisted it with a start price of £175.

Apparently THIS is OK too......

I've also seen this with a pair of WRX four pot calipers from a breakers. Started off at £50.00 and with a few hours to go and no bids, (probably all the interested parties, like me, holding off until the last minute.) Next thing is their gone and re-listed with a start price of £70.00?

Sellers don't want buyers to think that they don't "give a fnck"!

Right I may of got the wrong end of the stick here but from what I understand you advertised a wrx undertray as an sti one. Buyer complains after recieving the part and wants a full refund plus postage paid. If I've got this right then I'm totally on his side and think you've tried scamming him. If I've got it wrong somewhere I'm sorry, I will pay more attention in future.

Lolol If I was scamming him wouldn't of posted It on here. Am as genuine as you get I wouldn't rip anyone off.
The advert said wrx not STI
I know the prices of STI Undertrays go for would of saved money on the advert and sold it on here straight away £40 / £50 not a £5er on scam bay
Check my feed back burbling1 am sure thats anoth

The compatability list on the item says WRX STi, or am I missing something? And the listing text doesn't state whether it is WRX or WRX STi either?
