Hi I have a type r the log book say its a 1998 and the vin number is an import

This is the information when googled the vin number

Can anyone help me as to weather it's a v4 or a v5 thanks John

 

I'm pretty sure that if your coilpack is central on the inlet manifold then it's a v4 and if its sitting to the right then it's a v5.

Thanks for that but the car don't have any engine I brought it as a bare shell only thing that makes me think v4 is the ecu wires there's 3 which is the same as a v4 how many does a v 5 have

 

Gc8e2dd is a V4 mate.
