Unhappy £30 of super unleaded but needle has only moved very slightly HELP!

Hi guys
Well I put £30 of super in earlier (21 litres) the needle was just below a 1/4 before I filled up and now it's just above a 1/4 now I no it normally goes up slowly but in the 15minutes I was driving it didn't budge. I'd upload a picture bit don't no how. Also the needle doesn't drop when engine is turned off not sure if it should or not though :-/

Any help appreciated.

Thanks

It will more than likley be the sender unit in the tank, back seats out to expose the access flap, take that off with 4 screws then un clip all the pipes wires ect and undo the 12 or so 8mm bolts then lift out the assembly and swap it with a new one

The walbro wont affect it but whom ever fited it might of damaged/bent the sender causing false readings ect.
If a garage did it take it back and tell them they have balsed up the sender mate

You've bent the float when either removing or refitting. If you didn't swap it yourself, whoever did has fcuked it.

A proper specialist. My thought is maybe the 21litres didn't enter the car and the fuel pump was dry?

Mine does it now and again mate. Normaly if i fill till it clicks though. It would be full but needle only move up to about half way. Then after about 10 miles or so it sorts itself out and goes to full. Its fone it about 3 times now.

Try putting abit more in, might sort itself out on ur next drive

21 litres is one third of a tank so it would register for sure.

Also will depend on what you had left in the tank before you added 21L.

Take the pump out and inspect the float.
