Default Life after a big power Impreza?

Okay this is going to be a bit of a tough one.

This is a question solely for those who have OWNED 500bhp+ imprezas/evos etc.

I'd like to know what vehicle you went to after owning a big powered Impreza and how you felt about that move.
Cars I'm looking at range from classic 911s and Mk2 escorts to 996 GT3s and CSLs.
I "think" I want something NA, RWD and interesting with something special and a genuine bit of soul.
Something I feel the Impreza lacks is soul for sheer driving pleasure.

So interested to hear your comments.

Kind regards

Frayz.

Couldn't be more uninterested in a GTR.

Amazing "go fast" tool that's in exactly the same category as what I have now but I dare say even more soulless lol

thats fair enough, but i know what your saying, ive just come from a mk1 and mk2 foucs Rs, they seem to have that something special about them, the scooby seems to be missing it but i fancied a change lol i think a nice Harvy gibbs built 700/700 3Dr cossie would suit you well lol will need deep pockets though! lol but i bet it will feel special!

TVR cerbera for raw driving pleasure
in my opinion 1 of the most beautiful cars ever made inside and out
and a tuned 4.5 ajp V8 would be quick very quick

Imagine that power in that Chassis combined with Frayz' attention to detail.

Cheers for the input Mark, good to hear from you. And yes all I get is people telling me to keep it.

Eddy, yes I still want something with a decent amount of power (350+) but for me, I think it's a case of me growing up and wanting something special and NA.

Ash, in sure I wouldn't need Harvey for engine building lol.

Kwik, going to a classic would IMO offer me exactly what I have now. 22Bs to me are not as special as people are led to believe. Alongside that its still a turbo 4wd Impreza lol.

If you're gonna sell the Bomber then move away from the Marque, I'd go for the following...

Audi Quattro
993 911 Turbo
Escort Cosworth (Imperial blue)
RS500 Sierra
E30 M3

Not had 500hp scooby , but had a Porsche 911 3.2 carrera and loved it
Very solid , so simple to maintain they just keeps pulling , quirky to drive but great fun giving it some out of corners with the back end digging in and the front lifting skywards
Most rewarding car to drive I've owned
And a very usable classic

After going from a 550bhp plus Scoob to a Evo8 MR, I'm enjoying it, just a remap and it's 400bhp 420lbs/ft

Was one of those cars on my list to try, drove a RS4, Focus RS and E90 M3 before deciding

James, yours is an unusual decision to me mate.
You went from a 550+ jap 4wd turbo saloon to a 400 jap 4wd turbo saloon.
Personally I can't see why, but obviously you had a good enough reason.

What was your reasoning and do you regret any part of your decision?

I'm sure Frayz is asking for a N/A car, yet the majority listed in this thread are not N/A

I had a 450hp classic, moved to a 911. Not as fast albeit a lot more "special" imho.

TX.
