respray, but what colour?
going to get the scoob fully resprayed over christmas (door shuts and all) its an obsidian black pearl blobeye thats despoilered and soon to be low if that helps.
think ive settled on some form of white but not 100% sure. just wondered if anyone had seen anything unusual that looked good on a scoob that i hadn't seen or thought about.
don't mind something a bit off the wall either.
also wheel colours to consider (18" rota grids, currently gunmetal), if i go white it will probably be a minty green for the wheels similar to this hatch.
heres an example of what i was thinking of, but on a blobeye
cheers for reading, Mike.

Ignoring the low nonsense which is not my cup of tea have you thought abou the white Audi use for the R8. Hard to describe, but it's whiter than most.... like Daz LOL! Seriously though I saw a Jag XKR done in it and it looked amazing.

I know the low and understated look doesnt generally go down to well with the subaru community (nearly stirred up a lynch mob when i mentioned tyre stretch on a local subaru forum :P) but i would be interested on peoples colour opinions, there's bound to be ones i haven't thought of that look the part, just want to make sure im 100% sure when i hand it over to the body shop as its not a small amount of money.

think the colour you're thinking of is Suzuka Grey, its a crazy metallic white (dont ask me why its called "grey", must be something to do with the fleck)
gorgeous paint but not cheap.

Personally always fancied a blob eye in audi tt gunmetal with white alloys, not over the top but would show off the shutlines of the car really well. As for an off the wall colour my guilty pleasure for that would be the shade of orange used on the old mclaren f1 le man version.

Who are you and what have you done with Chris?!
To the OP, if you're gonna ruin the handling and general good aspects of a Subaru by "slammin" it, paint it pink with yellow spots. Will make no difference.
(OK a nice yellow is favourable).

i get that a lot of people on here are pretty passionate about their Subaru's and drive them to their full potential, i on the other hand don't. to me its just a car like any other, i generally buy a car, keep it for 6-12 months and get something else when i'm bored of it, throwing money that i'll never see again at each one because that's just what i enjoy doing. I've had slower cars and faster cars, but in the end, they're all just big canvases for me to have my fun with with and move on
as for painting it pink with yellow spots......you could be on to something there
yellow has been mentioned a few times to me by people, a nice yellow with carbon fiber details always looks good.
thanks, Mike.

If i go white it would be subaru aspen white.
If i decide on white does anyone know where i would get some white/clear rubber seals for sideskirts (where they contact the body)? The ones i have now are black but ive seen white ones on white cars.
