Default No MOT or TAX?

Am i legally aloud to drive my car to a MOT centre witout tax and MOT?

I would have thought you'd be ok if you get stopped, the worst they could do is ring the garage to check you have an appointment.

The only thing you have to watch is if your reg number gets picked up by a camera etc.

You can drive to test station , as long as its pre booked with no tax and mot,

what about insurance...im pretty sure u will need that

As above, but it MUST be pre-booked, no turning up on spec.

I believe you can - but you have to be insured.
It must be a direct drive to an MOT Station (not via shopping etc) and not taking the watsit by driving miles, as I think it has to be the nearest as reasonably possible.

Thanks For the replys! yeah will have insurance, I new it was ok to have no mot as long as your booked in at the garage, just wasent sure on the TAX side.

you are also legally allowed to drive to a Post Office with just an MOT for the purpose of "taxing said vehicle"

I work at an MOT test station (Not an MOT tester myself) and we had a policeman come in to check that a car was booked in with us for this very reason. The customers name and vehicle details needed to be recorded down somewhere showing the date and time of the MOT, if all is present and correct he is legally allowed to drive to the test station without an MOT. Also allowed to do it without TAX as you can not TAX the car without an MOT.
