I'm going to be driving a 61 plate sti on Monday from kinghams of Croydon. Really looking forward to it. What are they like as a car compared to an 07 hawk eye wrx and a 02 wagon with 320 bhp that I used to own

Scare them by saying as you are driving my previous Scoobies were tuned and I wonder if this will be similar then start driving faster (not silly though) and watch their face in the mirror. Years ago I did this when test driving a Renault, the salesman asked would I be going on the motorway to which I said yes!!!! (oops). On entering the motorway I accelerated hard to 70 then slotted it into 5th with the salesman looking a bit pensive. Drove down a few junctions and turned round, having not seen a copper I joined the motorway and booted it all the way to 100mph with the salesman gripping his seat. Droppeed down to a sedate 70mph and abidied the speed limits from then on. I did buy the car but wish I had taken a video of the salesman.

In all my years of Subaru ownership,4 new cars ,not once has anyone accompanied me on a test drive...the only advice I recall was...dont use top gear lol

i test drove a new shape sti after driving a hawkeye wrx and i have to say that i wasnt blown away with it if im honest. it was a superb looking car though which means i would have probably bought it if i wasnt wasting his time haha
