Default equal lenght headers

how many people run these?

what are your thoughts and given the chance would you swap back?

does it quieten the sound down slightly?
and lower egt,s is only a good thing surely

i,ve read about them but would be good to get feedback off people with them,do any subaru,s come std with them(spec c,s or twin scroll,s?)

thanks

All the twinscrolls have them as standard JDM Sti, Spec-C`s etc..
I wouldnt say they are quieter though around the 5-6k rpm they start to scream, Avoid cheap E/L headers at all costs, The best ones out there are the standard OEM ones

i went from standard unequeal headers recently to a set of equal length headers, i was vert nervous about losing the burble and it sounding like a honda, however i must say the sound is fantastic, it literally screams at higher revs and gave noticeable torque increase on my car

I agree, when mine hits 8k revs it sounds like a motorbike. Have a Haward and Scott cat back pipe for the rest so I suppose it does depend on what's behind the headers. No I wouldn't go back to unequal. Andy
