Bug JDM sti what's it worth
Hello,
Another one of these threads so apologies in advance.
I'm running a 2002 jdm bug sti currently as a second car but barely use it, so may have to sell her after only 6 months.
The car is completely standard, pretty rare I suspect. New set of falcon 452s all around, brembos, xenons, auto intercooler spray, twin scroll turbo etc. interior is in excellent condition, bodywork too considering the age, mainly chips to the edge of the door.
Showing 99,000 on the clock now sure how many are km to be honest.
Don't think it has full service history and the back end grinds sometimes (I think this is a common fault?!).
Car runs spot on and to me anyway is very quick and handles like its on rails especially compared to the wrx wagon I had before.
Anyway trying to be honest as I can really, what's it worth if anything!?
Cheers

Update
Oh yeah and I can't be bothered to break it really, I know the gearbox and engine are probably worth a fair bit from this model.
If its worthless then I'll just keep it I guess, it owes me about 4k.

Naive but I just assumed it was! So your probably correct ill try and find out... Red line 8k but I guess that's irrelevant in determining?. It's not a spec C.

Thinking about it and googling, it doesn't really drive like a twinscroll as all hell breaks loose at about 3.5k which isn't consistent with the characteristics of a twin scroll. Sorry guys!
that's the value plummeting further then lol

Ah ok im looking at a few K lower than that I would guess. Gave Scooby parts a ring and obviously its trade prices based on just describing the car ballpark was around 2.5k for it, does that seem like madness? better of just keeping it and using it rarely?!

Ok cheers, I need to get all the paperwork together to see exactly what ive got service history wise and when it got imported so I can work out what was done in km's etc(all with my dad at the moment) as im sure anyone looking will want to know, don't like to mess people around.
I'll be honest I think only around 3k would tempt me as im not disparate to sell, but i'll have a think anyway as its pretty wasted on my drive!

I'll be honest I don't think I can deal with the hassele/ worry of selling it privately, thought I'd try selling direct to trade to avoid it, but looks like I'd have to take a big hit to do so... 2.5k ill keep it doesn't cost me much to run as it does very little mileage

They are crazy cheap for what they are, but I guess that's the market. It does feel like trousers and pants down letting it go for 2.5k, pretty depressing!

It's really hard to value these cars! I was hoping being completely strandard and original would make mine desirable, but yep only worth what someone will pay
