Default Newage Injectors

Hi, ive been reading a thread on nasioc and it states that blue wrx injectors and pink sti injectors are infact the same injector with different restrictors on the bottom hence causing the flow difference?? It says if you pop off the end cap using a dremel to cut the small weld both injectors will flow 740cc does anyone know if this is true and is this safe ?? Anyone had experience with this???

I believe that some people have removed the cap and claim that the injectors then flow to that of the above, however the spray pattern cannot be any good and is it really worth the risk?

you can buy a set of 650/750cc injectors for £120 second hand, and if you have the pink ones you could sell them for £80/90 so you are talking £40 or £50 to upgrade and know you are safely fuelling your car properly.

or just send your old ones away to be re-flowed properly, not worth taking short cuts on this!

If you need 550cc or more you must be running high power, that doesn't come cheap, so it's not worth the damaging the engine over £50 is it? Give it a go with a spare set and get them tested before fitting, report back with the results
