There's only one man you need to see and he's just down the road, Mr Paul Blamir...

Tracktive Solutions in Melton Mowbray.

Richard's (ex-WRC mechanic) attention to detail is second to none.

thanks matty. im taking your advice you gave me about the mods aswell. also wot is a good make 3 port boost solonoid and am i right in thinking that the mapper will fit that. also is a de-cat exhaust much better than one with a sports cat because im a bit worried about getting it through an mot.

Have a hunt through the for sale section on here, you'll find a good 3 port for circa £20. Paul or Richard (Paul's right hand man) will fit it on mapping day, only takes two mins to fit it.
Regards to exhaust, De-cat will see better gains but like you say will cause MOT issues. The sports cats that are available are very good and for most people is the better option because once they are hot they will pass MOT.

Not questioning his skill atall but he only maps certain ECUs & won't touch Simtec/ Alkatec.

Paul doesn't either and he's one of the best in the country.

I live in March buddy, your more than welcome to pop over for a brew and a chat or some advice mate, I've usually got an impreza or two at mine on a Saturday...

Regards to brakes, yep you'll have 4 pots up front and I'm fairly sure you have 2's on the back.

LOL, no mate. I know very little compared to some of the guys on here mate

I know enough to get by and help a few mates out with their Imprezas, done a lot of the work on my car myself or Richard from ZEN would come to mine if I needed advice on something. The biggest thing is not being scared to jump in and have a go and get your hands dirty. There's also lots of great members on here that offer free advice if you come up against something you've not done before.

bob rawle brilliant job. up north andy forrest performance, south simon at jgm . mids id say mark at tdr racing hes good. Andy carr preston. and rcm . but had mine mapped by bob rawle last feb 2013 and car is like a bat out of hell 1st gear up tp 40mph in prob 2 secs if that, no problems at all, alkatec ecu had slight idle problem but bob ironed that out, with in 5 mins of mapping on road the car was behaving differently, response better holding it in 4th at 1.5 bar is interesting while he changes air to fuel levels.fun afternoon to say least, vf34 held out well, and still perfect with good spooling . 330/350
