Default Fan not blowing warm any ideas?

Just got my WRX and love it - One thing I've noticed is the heater doesn't seem to blow warm air what is the most likely cause?

Cheers

Stuck thermo, or do a flush & refill with 50/50 mixture.

Could also be low on water or an airlock in the system, lack of use won't make it blow any colder.

Are both your heater hoses getting hot?

Can also be the heater matrix, I had to replace one in my bugeye WRX wagon when I had it, removal of dash etc required. I had ruled out all the obvious options before doing this though

My experience was an airlock. Do a search on here how to remove it.

If your coolant temp gauge stays very low, then its going to be a stuck thermostat. If its reading really hot, then it could be a head gasket/water pump - or at best an air lock. If its staying where it should be (in the middle) then check the header tank has plenty of water in it then remove the small return pipe that goes from the radiator back to the header tank and check you have circulation. (the outlet on the radiator can become blocked).

They can be a pig to bleed if you haven't done it before.

The engine temp gauge is where it should be, was the first thing I kept an eye on, I haven't got a clue, anyone around Wrexham, N Wales that can do these checks?

Thanks
