Hi,
here's one to make you think.
After the success of the SCR, H4H, RAF rally cars first season, sponsors are popping up, not in droves yet but they are peeking around the corner at the car, which leaves us a decision to make.
Sponsors like their name on the car, and as its well stickered up with little or no space left apart from the roof so do we change the whole livery on the car to make space or not.
Gut feeling is its now known and easily recognised, if I had a pound for every one who said "wow that looks fantastic" or "what a stunning looking car" I would be worth a fortune.
So, do we leave it as it is or do we change it ??
Over to you folks.
cheers
Kev

IMO you're a well established company and one of, if not the best when it comes to Subaru developments and modifications.
It won't take long for people to recognise a change and the car could end up looking even more familiar or even better before you know it. The competition might not take you too seriously if they don't recognise you to start with . It could also bring a lot of new attention and it'll give us all something to talk about
I say do it!

Hi,
all my thoughts rolled into two posts.
But I do think it looks well as is..............
that photo was at the beginning of the season with plenty room for sponsors, its now pretty full and we don’t want it to look like a bill board.
However ££££££,s.
Dont know we will go with the majority views.
cheers

If you need sponsor money and who doesn't, you need to make room for their logo's. Depending on how much £££ depends on how big and were their logo's go. In racing, never turn £££ away.

Hi,
thanks for your thoughts.
We have a rolling road day on Saturday, its Midland scoobies R/R day and UK scoobies end of season meet, clash of the titans.
I will put a couple of sheets of paper on the rally cars windscreen and ask for votes, "to change or not to change, that is the question", lets see what people think when they see the car up close.
Anyone wanting to pop in on the R/R day please feel free to do so, all are welcome.
cheers

Kev I think it depends on how large the logo / ad would be but more importantly what real figure of cash will it be as without that no one will be aable to offer you a fair answer
Good luck with it all

Hi,
we need to see who is interested and at what level, like you state
Not bad for a new build though, 12 weeks from a bare shell to a working rally car and a podium in B13 MSA national championship, and an invite to have a play with Ken Block all in the first year, hopefully a sponsor or two would like to get involed.
Kuhmo tyres and Millers oils have been fantastic throughout the year supplying Tyres and lubes for the season, in the building of the car Forge and hose technics were there for us, Polybush supplied the bushes throughout and of course on site Syvecs man himself "Pat the map", rest has been down to us, enjoyed it though, stressful but rewarding and educational at the same time.
As the car is recognisable as it is I feel; it should stay that way unless a sponsor comes to the table with a considerable investment, who knows, be nice if Monster energy came along, anyone got some black and green paint.
Cheers
