Weird through progressive boost
I was on the m62 yesterday and was progressively accelerating the all of a sudden the car felt like it hit a brick wall for a split second. i looked down and the engine management light came on for that split second and the revs dropped to 0 then came back alive. it's done it twice now any ideas ??

Not sure on bugeye models but with a classic unless the ECU is reset and a fault code read, it should store. i had it with a dodgy knock sensor wire. Intermittant CEL would come up, connected tester plugs and code 22 - knock sensor. I dunno about newages but this page should help...

could well have been fuel surge with so little fuel in the tank. The fuel pick up is at the front of the tank, so if you accelerate hard enough you can throw the fuel to the rear of the tank aspecialy if youve just come off a roundabout?
