Flex pipes are crap and it won't be standard so your best bet is to replace with standard items.
Try the wanted section or look at what the breakers are breaking.

My headers have a flexi and they are standard headers.

any decent exhaust place should be able to remove the old one and replace it with a new item easy enough fella

Hi tony. These are the standard ones that's on it. Could I just have the flexi cut out and put bit of pipe in there instead? Would that work fine?

I wouldn't put a solid pipe in place no as your taking the little flex away it has to move, if its solid then the stress has to go somewhere which normally results in cracking to the manifold, it needs a little "give" there under normal conditions

You can do it but not recommended

A standard exhaust doesn't have a flexi pipe in it, it's a solid pipe off it, any flex is taken up by the hangers on the rest of the system.
Flexi pipes are normally added to compensate for poor fitting systems, neither one of my Spec C's have had flexi pipes.

That's strange? Every set I've seen has had the flexi in place on the manifold

Did the spec c come with different manifolds, although I can't see it?

Yep there is a difference between standard manifolds(non-twinscroll)and the JDM twinscroll manifolds but neither of the genuine OEM ones come fitted with a flexi pipe anywhere in the exhaust system

My jdm doesn't have a flexi, just the spring assisted bolts on the joint between centre section, mine have developed a little rattle though so need to investigate as one of the heat shields must be a little loose,
