Absolutely no way I'd use fake harnesses! You might as well not bother for what good they could do.

As above I wouldn't use them! Fake harness using on the car is big NO

We are using TRS and we are very happy with them

I would never buy harness off ebay, I would always pay a little more and get a real set from one of the big motorsport companys.

ones ive used are identical to trs 3" straps, the stitching is the same the buckles etc etc

i swapped the aero catch to a genuine trs one, even tho they were identical, and the harnesses i bought didnt have the little retaining clip that stops the shoulder and lap straps becoming loose, so bought a set of clips from trs and fitted them on as they use the same adjusting buckles, down to the cut of the metal on the buckles etc even the stitching was identical, so id say the ones i had some one bought trs harnesses took the trs logo patch off and stitched a takata one on as the stitching on the takata patch was differnet from the stitching on the rest of the harnesses (which was the same color, thickness and design as trs harnesses)

When it all goes **** up you have one chance & one chance only!

If the belt dosn't have markings as per the site below you can f*k off.

http://www.securon.co.uk/seat_belts_about.htm

Why bother re-inventing the wheel with your own 'testing?????'
that is not approved? Does the 'test facility' have one of these? :

I can't believe people are even considering putting thier lives in danger.

The point is the consistency of the product won't be there. A test on one fake will tell you nothing but how good that particular fake is The next one you order may be better or much worse
