Servicing and Cambelt for 2001 Bugeye
Hello,
Bit of a noob on here. I picked up a 2001 bugeye wrx yesterday and I have to say that I think the car is great. Totally standard car which helps a lot with the insurance etc.
Anyway, the car has only done 42k and has been serviced every 7k. The thing that worries me a bit is that the last service was a couple of years ago. The car has only done 4k since then.
The couple that I bought it from are just retiring and have had the car since new and Im pretty sure they have looked after it (the only blemish in the history was a failed MOT for a windscreen wiper). The rest were all OK with no advisories.
My question is, should I put the car through a service and also should I get the cambelt changed? Also, how much do you reckin this would cost?
Thanks
