Looks like time to sell up... but not sure how much for?

Looks like time to sell up... but not sure how much for?
Having gotten a new job which involves using my car a lot more and having decided before that happened that now's the time to make some cuts and sell up
My main problem is that I don't really know what to ask for the car so would like some opinions. It's not for sale yet as some kind person in a Range Rover managed to scrape the back bumper and didn't bother leaving a note. I want to get this sorted first.
It's a Hawkeye Spec D, just short of 130k and in great condition. No knocking shocks, full history, only mods are Prodrive Springs and uprated discs and pads. Doesn't use any oil, doesn't have any overheating problems. It's mechanically perfect, and the best car I've owned up to this point.
Once I've got the bumper sorted, would it be too high at £7000? Like I say, the car is 100% not for sale yet. I just want some advice. Cheers guys.

Think u will struggle with 130k on the clock, i would not pay it. Do a parkers search and it will tell you how much its worth and how much to take off for the miles over the average, always found them quite good. Good look with the sale.

I think a Spec D hawk with 130k on the clock is worth only £5500. That is some serious mileage and if I was looking I wouldn't even read the advert past the mileage part. Sorry

In this climate you would struggle to get £7k with half the milage.
Depends if you want it gone asap or willing to hang around, i'd say £4.5/ £4.8k if you want it gone.
High milage frightens most people so it needs to be cheap to get someone to take a punt, add to that the less popular spec d, i think even the breakers would steer clear.
I'd look around and see what the cheapest hawk is up for and then punt it at around 5/800 less than that to make it the cheapest one out there.
GLWTS.

Mate you wont get £6500, i have my mates Hawk Sti with 70k on the clock and people are offering me £6000, its in the right colour, full history and £400 tyres on and still people are taking the p*ss
Your options are take the hit or keep it, if its been reliable then buy yourself a little runner (306 diesel) and keep the spec d for the snow

I'd keep it mate and do what voom said buy a cheap diesel shed run around. use it on limited mileage insurance at the weekend. prices are real low if you're a seller! just look at eBay and search for completed listings to see for yourself. good luck fella

it's not just your spec d or that mileage thats causing what it's worth it's the genral market for all cars, the only ones that are shifting are the ones that are mega cheap and the sellers are PREPARED to take a big hit to sell on, the ones that are priced normal on ebay for example are just going round and round with no takers, just the way of it i am afraid!

Why do people still worry with cars over the 100k mark? I dont understand its been proven that engines can last well over 500k
As long as the service history is good you can grap yourself a bargain!

The engine may go on forever but that doesn't mean other bits, other consumables won't. Gearbox, suspension, bodywork, seals, all the other bits is where the ££ mount up. Been there done that with a high mileage Scoob and wouldn't do it again.
