Default quick exhaust question.

hi , does anyone know if a newage cat back system will fit a classic?
im aware that the rear hanger on the backbox will be wrong, but is the centre section the right length and is the hanger in the correct place to fit a classic?
thanks.

Jura
so you think the centre section would be the same length with the hanger on the centre section being correct for my classic?

I have a new age system fitted to my classic, downpipe, centre and back box. The centre section was shorter than the classic one with the downpipe being longer. It also tapped and scraped the underside until I had the centre and back box hangers chopped and re-welded for a better fitment. It's a full Cobra system and they themselves did the alterations so I had no doubt about the quality of the original items.

Other systems may be different but that was my experience

Worst case scenario is you have to chop a bit off or weld a bit on to the centre section depending on length or fitment. No more than an hours work for any respectable exhaust outfit
