i was looking at blob sti's standard with ppp with hp figure of 370 i asked what proof have you got, i lost it all but its got FMIC, induction kit, remap and ppp with fuel pump, exhaust, and remap!
i just replied okay so how come you have a top mount still and also 2 maps on the standard ecu, an exhaust that clearly says STI on the side yeah okay you have a k&n induction kit but thats not going to give you 370hp you be lucky to have 290!

I was shocked at the amount of cars being mis-advertised when I was looking recently.
I would say a good 50% of cars being sold as STI's were WRX's with a bigger spoiler/turbo/intercooler.
Nothing wrong with a WRX but If I wanted an WRX I would of entered "WRX" into the search function!
