2002 scooby bugeye - hi and some advice please
Hi all, just like to say hi
I have a 2002 red impreza wrx (first I've seen) , previously had a 97 turbo wagon..love em.
Got this red one and someone previously fitted a baileys dump valve but not plumbed it in well, blanking old pipe with a screwdriver handle lol and leaving the standard dump valve on the intercooler.
Unfortunately when I stripped the inter cooler I noticed the original dump valve had just been drilled and stuffed up.
I need to get a standard dump valve and pipe that goes to the back of the dump valve as the numpty has cut it well short. Is it just best to get a silicone turbo hose set to replace this? If so any recommendations ? Otherwise would u reckon eBay for both?
If anyone has these bits thou give me a shout as I have a non working car right now
Also need to replace the coolant as it looks browner than a currie turd! I know when I had my rs turbo you used a mix of water and ford coolant, are scooby the same?
Great to be part of the forum hope everyone is well!

Hi mate, welcome to the forum, I too have a 2002 bugeye in 94H Mica Red.
If you search the trader forums you can deifinatly get the bits you needs, just bell the companies & they will sort you out, any part can be delivered if none local to you.
Any coolant safe for ally blocks, usually green or pink should be fine on a 50/50 tap water mix. I personally use de ionised water to avoid limescale problems.
