Default FMIC cover

Hi All,

After just over a year of running a naked FMIC I think it’s time to cover her up!. What I would like to do is find a mesh that matches the standard grill used on the Hawkeye. SO its black diamond’s shaped grill with 2cm vertical and 3cm horizontal diamonds.

The plan would be to remove the bumper and fit it directly to the inside of the body work. I was also considering covering the scoop on the inside of the bonnet to stop large stones and bugs from hitting the FMIC pipe work.

Any advice on where I could get the material or any feedback on making this work would be great?

You can buy sheeting from zunsport, i dunno whether its a match or not, i removed the upper grill on my blob and manufactured it from zunsheet so it matches the bottom.

That's a hyperflow core by the looks of it.

I'd go for the Prodrive Grill set and paint the lower grill blue to match the bumper

I like the look of the zunsport but not sure it’s what I want. The body work has been trimmed to make the large FMIC work so I am not sure what effect this would have? I would also like the grill to be stepped back a little rather than being flat with the front.

any other ideas, maybe I just give the ebay stuff a go and see what it looks like?

Anybody know a company that do custom mesh? Not worried about price as long as it looks good.
