Default www.japanesemotorspares.co.uk Scammer?

Hi Guys.

Just thought i'd bring this to people's attention.

Placed and order with this site last Tuesday. Idle Control Valve gasket.

Heard nothing from them since.

No method of phone contact on the website which should have rasied alarm bells to start with.

Done a quick search on the internet for the address listed on the website and it comes up with some shocking info.

The guy has many sites using many different names and all the sites are almost identical in structure and just vary by the name and colours really.

I've tried contacting him through the messaging services on the site but no reply. He's now listed a tracking number for first class delivery which still hasn't turned up 3 days later and after contacting the post office they tell me that number is just an unused first class signed for label which hasn't been registered.

I only used the site based on a suggestion from a forum member on here but I think it's turned out to be a bogus operation.

Worst part is the gasket I bought was £11 on the site and i've now ordered one from Subaru for £6!

Just a warning guys because there are some expensive parts listed on the site.

Cheers.

I think you should ring the police. Lots of "little" £11's soon add up and this guy is a serious scammer. Lets see him locked up.

if your card is a VISA debit, then you should be covered as you can do a chargeback. but not worth the hassle.

Send him some DogSh!t through the post instead

Interesting update:

Just called my bank to discuss the payment made to JapaneseMotorSpares.

The payment was processed under the name of www.glowinghomes.co.uk and not Japanesemotorspares.

I've checked on Glowingholmes and it is a replica of Japanesemotorspares apart from the products being sold obviously.

The bank also said that the payment has been refunded to me as there was a problem with the processing his end and thus the payment was cancelled.
