Default Intercooler spray kit?

Anyone fitted the spray kit to a WRX car?
Does it need to run a relay for the auto spray
System?

the problem with the oem/diy intercooler spray units is heavy droplet jets which use up water quickly and poor spray direction, i.e. down on to the intercooler.
The spray should be fine and directed up into the incoming airflow. The only jets I could find that were effective and sourceable were the one Aquamist use in their water injection systems. At £16+vat they're not cheap but are effective in highmist/ low water usage.

Just to add to this, i finally got round to finishing all of the wiring today and it works just as if it was fitted from the factory. Im looking forward to getting to use it it on the road and see what difference it will have. If anyone is interested then i'll take some pics of the install?

How did you do the wireing?
Have you set up the auto spray button?
Or just on and off switch
