Lightbulb #IfInDoubtFlatOut

(I've had a quick search and not come across any other threads. Sorry if this steps on anyones toes).

On the 15th Sept it'll be five years since Colin Mcrae passed away.

Since many of us will be driving Imprezas because of watching him fly through the special stages in the WRC, as a mark of respect I thought it would be good to get #IfInDoubtFlatOut treading on Twitter worldwide.

It would have to be co-ordinated so I suggest 15:00hrs on 15th Sept 2012 (Saturday). Set your alarms!!

If you use other forums, spread the word and of course it doesn't have to be just scooby fans.

I will definitely trend that.

Can you believe its been 5 years since his death on Saturday!

Autosport & Motorsport News have released this magazine, its got some great features of all his old rally cars and also says he nearly returned to Subaru twice in 2004 & 2008. I found it in WH Smith.

Also Duke have got the Rally Legend DVD for £10 with the 1995 Championship winning year.

I've never used Twitter lol.

Why not try and arrange a meet, or a few meets nationally.
My ex used to work in a hotel in Scotland where Colin used to stay sometimes, really nice guy apparantly.

He absolutely tore past her a few times on the motorway too!

Good boy!!

I thought that at short notice, meets would be hard to arrange and to passers-by it would look like a bunch of cars parked up. With a trending tweet more people across the world might click on it to find out what it's about.

It's also Rally GB this weekend and I imagine many scooby drivers will be heading to watch it. If your on twitter and have a smart phone you can tweet from stage side and still be involved.
