i am also interested in this. I seem to be unable to get the wrinkle red VHT paint delivered to NI as its classed as a hazardous liquid and they have to put it on a lorry at the cost of a crate ! As i am not painting my intake , just the belt cover , i would be happy enough to go to Halfords and get a rattle can if i knew what paint code is a close match.
Am i correct in saying the VHT wrinkle has a more orange tint than original intake red ? Would a light dusting on the intake with normal paint (to try and bring the colour closer) resist the heat ?

He says in his thread that the newer VHT has an orange tinge and not red. He shows pictures of a part painted with the new VHT against the inlet refurbed with the old VHT formula. There is a big difference and a definite orange colour....mind you being from Northern Ireland that might suit
.......only joking buddy, I am from Belfast myself
Cheers
