Default Wheel nut BUST

Hi Guys,

Need help as my wheel nut sheared off in half after been put on too tight with air gun,been trying to drill out but not looking good.Any ideas or places to get it sorted in the West Yorks area.Any info would be greatly appreciated.

You can sometimes get them off by hammering a socket onto it and asking someone with a windy gun to undo it.

Thanks Alcazar, thing is the socket part has gone so nothing to go over,so do you meen to force the socket on as much as you can then use windy gun.

You need to drill it out, I had this happen to me recently I did 3 of them, my fault for overtightening them, good luck it completely fooked 2 of my wheels

Did you manage to save the threads on the studs,and did you just drill and drill till you got just bits.

no had to replace all 3 studs, drilled to break the seal and then hammered it until they moved

Thanks for advice guys,much appreciated,ive got it booked in a local garage in the morning as to be honest its doing my nut just loking at it.Got some wheel nuts on order in black and in steel so see how we go tommorow and i will offer your advice to him,fingers crossed.
