ap calipers are not monoblock, dont see reason why pay so much ,near 3k with good pads- front only, and are overkill for discs.(discs often crack)
on ebay is offer - alcon proR 6pot monobloc calipers 1,5k or
ksport -d2 front and rear for 2k here from traders.

Why not just get a good second hand set of STI brembo's. If your not running huge power these are easily good enough, look good too. Combined with some decent discs and pads and your a winner.
Or if money is no object go with the Porsche front setup, look awesome and in my opinion (I am biased) they are the best setup available without spending huge money.
I do feel that AP/porsche/Ksport etc etc are overkill for most people though, the standard STI brembo's are pretty good with the right bits.

As Matty said Brembo should be enough with PF disc and good pads and you have good combo, but this can come in price, which will be similar to the K-sport or D2
Porsche brakes are probably nicest setup and really looks awesome
As I said,D2 and K-sport use AP shape pads(CP5070D54, used in Caliper Type CP5555 or AP CP5070D51),price for pads is similar to the AP/Porsche etc...
