Default LOCAL GARAGE NEEDED

Hi guys
ive recently done the head gaskets on my '96 P reg Classic Wagon, after putting her all back together, i turned they key and well she turns over but doesnt fire up, done compression test, getting fuel, getting spark, all the timing marks are lined up, #1 is at the top when its timed but she just wont start?
if anyone has any ideas what i could of missed pleas fire ideas at me

failing that im looking for a reputable Subaru garage in the Aldershot, Guildford, Reading, Basingstoke surround area

ANY help with this matter would be much appreciated

I live in Aldershot mate.

There are no main dealers in Aldershot or Guildford. I shoud think Reading have one, and Basingstoke certainly does (but I don't know the name).

Guildford on the other hand has Eurospec 2000 or similar on the Slyfield Ind. Estate.
They specialise in all fast Jap stuff, one or two people on here use them. I think they're called Eurospec 2000, but not 100% sure mate, sorry.

I personally use Proven Subaru in Haslemere (Surrey). Good guys, and know their stuff.
Graham Hollidge is the guy I usually speak to, very helpful.

Hope this helps.

As above, if it has one coil pack with leads a common mistake is to fit it upside down which messes up the firing order.

On the crank mate there is the timing mark and another mark which has been known to get mixed up, it is about 90 degrees out, could be worth having a quick look.

as above you use the lines rather than the arrows to time it up, are your crank and cam sensors wired up ok

as others have said was the crank pulley in the right location when timing the engine?
and are you sure the cams didn't get mixed up on strip/rebuild?
