remove the lining from the rear lock area by removing the black plastic clips. There is an earth point for the numberplate lights just below the lock. I used it when I fitted a new fog light. Hope this helps

Can anyone tell me where i can find the best earthing point in the boot of my 93 wrx as i cant find a decent earth anywhere

You can always try to attach it where the bumper is attached ?
So you don't have to drill in the car.

Been down this road myself with the feckin WRX, IMHO nothing beats the negative point on the battery-Especially for stereo.
Or you have to drill..

Used one of the screws/bolts for the lock mechanism myself
problem Ive got is keeping my autochanger in one place!

To earth my autochanger, I used the screws that attach the rear speakers to the parcel shelf. Autochanger is mounted under the shelf.
