Anyone noticed how much their bonnet moves whilst driving, or is it just mine ??

p.s. keep your eyes on the road whilst checking

Yeah, I've noticed - especially on track days

Its my pseudo speed limiter.
At 120 mph I back off as it looks sooooo hairy (on a Forester stb).
I might as well have kept the Jap rev limiter on at 112 mph.

Yeah - its a problem on the imports with Ali bonnets - mine moves up at least an inch or so in head winds at high speed - you sometimes have to slow down to avoid the inevitable!

My old 98 UK spec used to do that. New model seems much better... another improvement

glad u put in this post - out for a burl over Easter weekend I definitely thought the bonnet was lifting at speed - a good inch or so.

I reassured myself that as the bonnet is only made of fibreglass it was just flexing in the wind .......

Yep, mine flaps around like and old flappy bonnet type thingy

Especialy noticable on pictures of myself at Donno, where there is a noticable lift on the one side of the bonnet, at least 1"

Mine seems solid, but Tom's P1 bonnet did appear to move quite a bit.
