Dilemma
Did half day track day at my local racing circuit in a elise, around 21 laps and thinking whether it's worth modding my 330s with uprated brakes and suspension tweaks and going for it on that.
Nothing like your own car and that but for 200 quid I can do that again as opposed to say 170 quid for circuit say, track insurance 50 quid or more, wear tyres etc and the odds it ain't gonna handle like a lotus round the track.
Anyone got any dime bar ideas or is this a stupid question

Not a daft question mate, its a matter of personal choice really... if you plan to do a lot of track days, then i think you would probably get more out of modifying and improving your own car and using that on track than the elise. Not sure the scooby will handle like the elise as its much heavier, but personally i would get more out of using my own car on the track, and understanding how modifying it changes the handling etc.
Hope that helps a bit
