Dilemma Dilemma....which colour do I choose on a new MY01 ? .....I've narrowed it down to these 2...cos the other colours

Silver : too ordinary
WR Blue : too bright
Green : No thanks
Red : Urgh
White : I really don't think so

Anyone got any piccies of an MY01 in either the Blue/Black Mica or Deep Blue Mica??? Could you post them ? thanks!!

I would go for the blue/black

I'm not a great lover of DBM, a bit boring looking (flame suit ready)

Dark Blue Mica everytime. That's what mine will be. I looked at both colours together and unless the sun is shining directly on the black car it looks plain black.

My MY99 Wagon is DBM and although I think it suits the old shape, the new one seems to be better in bright colours (don't like BDM much on it and although Blue/Black is much better, the WR Blue looks good outside.)

Are the colours still the same for MY02 - if you haven't ordered yet then you should be able to get one of those.

I have ordered a DBM. Liked the WR blue but girlfriend didn't. I chose the car, she chose the colour. Pretty fair as I got a WRX!!!

I agree with Simon. BBM looks a bit strange unless in direct sunlight and hey in the British weather that would be about how may days a year!!!!!!

I suppose it comes down to personal choice or rather the missus's!!!!

Sorry Gaz - that was a typo and should have said DBM. I prefer Blue/Black on the basis that (1) it's rarer and (2) it's nice in the sun - my old Corrado was very dark blue pearl effect, similar colour. Used to really irritate me that everyone just thought it was black except on the sunniest days though.

Whatever colour, and I agree the more obscure the colour the rarer the car hence stronger residuals, the only colours that are awful red and white. Even the local dealer told me that reds and whites are worth less on identical cars that are green or blue.

It's all down to personal choice. Just watch the residuals!

Red, Red, Red................looks absolutely stunning - not like the old solid red Bit girlie though - probably why I chose it.

Carolyn

On a different tack, my missus has been somewhat concerned by the apparent lack of the more fragant of the species being fans of scoobies. She will be glad she is not the only female fan of the WRX's.

On the colour, we will have to disagree! Probably hate the same music too!!! I bet your belly button sticks out as well!!!!!!

I saw a suprisingly large number of women driving Scoobies (all 99/00 UKs in silver 4 doors, coincidentally) when I went to Goodwood on Saturday. On their own in the cars though... so maybe there's an untapped potential Scoobynet lonely-hearts forum for single ladies?
