Default Single plate hyper clutch

Afternoon gents,

Quick question... how much power can I safely run through a single plate hyper clutch?

Been told 400bhp, now someone is saying 450/500bhp?

I don't do 'launching' but I do obviously like to give it the beans from time to time....

Ideas please?

Thanks

Rob

Its torque you need to measure to spec a clutch.

Thanks for the info scubbay... have you a figure in mind?

Cheers Banny, 450ish was a figure I had in mind and would be more than happy with! What clutch are you running 500 though out of interest?!

I was informed by a "top" mapper that my graph is wrong, so hence im being conservative with my power figs now, still nice to have a car that can do 10.8 1/4 mile with "only" 500bhp on road tyres
