Default Wiring help

Just got my turbo timer through the post today. Going to wire it in myself, just need to know the colour of the wires. Red, blue and green on my tt. Need to know what is the 12v+ constant, ig2 output and ig1 output. Thanks in advance I have a 2003 sti

I know I don't really NEED a turbo timer but I WANT one. And I know it's easier to buy a harness but I'm going to give it a bash myself

i have a turbo timer in my sti and tbh you would be better of buying the harness for £12 as its plug and play and removable if you have issues.

I'm an electrician, it wouldn't be butchered. But I know what you mean. For the sake of £12ish it would be easily removed. I'll have another look around for one

Every car manufacturers have different colour wires on the ignition so the turbo timer would need to have a diagram for every different make and model of car if it "should come with diagram" and that would be A LOT of diagrams.

If anyone needs a diagram of the ignition system for wiring a turbo timer, I found this.

All wired in and working perfect
