Question How long does a remap last for...

...as it was done 6 years ago? Is there a sliding % like you get with 'normal' cars that age? Or does it depend on the mods done as well as the remap?

Either that or I go rolling roading haha

Interesting question. Would like to hear more.

Can say on my Ep3 I noticed a difference over the years. That was with Kpro.

once the ecu is set up it will stay the same, the only loss of power will be from failing parts.

i suppose it will gradually be less than 100% optimal due to engine wear, but i doubt it would be noticeable.

Having had a good look around my paperwork (only bought the car 2 days ago) I just thought I would ask the question would also like to see what boost it is running at but my usual mechanic left his job

Was dyno'd at Dashtek, 328.3bhp at 6500rpm in mid 2006, don't know what boost setting.
Remap ecutek at Perfect Touch in early 2006, unfortunately no detail on invoice as to what brand pre-map mods were used.

Be interesting what people say...
