Hello , i have a impreza gc8 1997 ej20G (i think,if someone can confirm that it be very hopefull,and also tell me the turbo that i have) and i want to upgrade to 300 hp.My car is stock.The ecu is 6 D (4 yellow plugs) my MAF is purple labeled,and i have a 2 port boost solenoid.
I am think to buy apexi power fc , apexi avc-r boost controller , make a custom exhaust , hks or kn induction kit,larger top mount intercooler autobahn88.
I do not know what items to buy , for example :
-apexi power fc for v1,v2 impreza or v3,v4 impreza?
-the hks induction kit which kit number?
sorry for my english,i'm from Romania and i am at begining with subaru.
I want to buy this products from ebay or something and i want to be sure that they fit to my car.

Hmmm, its interesting as you have a phase 1 engine, which would mean its a TD05, but you dont have the slanty intercooler and a phase 1 engine wouldnt be on a 1997 car because they changed to phase 1.5's then....
Unfortunately I dont have a list of the ecu numbers, would have to look that up on scoobypedia, but your car does not have a version, it would just be an MY97 Impreza GT.

i know from the previous owner that he swap the engine,in the registry note they write is a ej20g engine but i'm not sure what kind of ej20g.I saw that the ignition coil pack are fixed with 2 bolts.
If it is an earlier impreza engine it will resist at 300 bhp?
