Default Dreaded rear shock knock

My03sti has ppp springs and what would you recommend as a replacement haven't read good things about oem ones

Have a look on nesf mate there's a guide of how to remove your rear shocks and re grease the shocks up to stop the knocking think its in the technical section. Just a thought for you mate might save you some money if that's all that is wrong

Might go down that route the thing is I'm getting the knock when slowing down to a stop and taking off

I ve got the same problem , does anyone know if it's poss to fit grease nipples to the shocks whilst they are still on the car ?

i had this problem on WRX wagon and solved it by exposing the shock absorber rods and liberally spraying with silicone lubricant.

All I will say is don't replace them with new OEM ones as the problem simply returns again in no time.

I would go for some aftermarket shocks .... the third time it happened on mine that is what I did as it was out of waranty then. Can't remember what I put on now, but it cured it.
