Just checked on my ecl and coming up with knock sensor,, one seems to come on low down in revs and and just runs rough while driving but soon goes once higher in revs as guess this was the maf sensor,,, but what's the knock sensor for ?? Any ideas

do you mean what does the knock sensor do????

code 23 is telling you its knackered , they re not that much to buy £40ish. it might be retarding the ignition as a safety measure.

the knock sensor does what is says on the tin , senses knock /detonation and retards ignition accordingly

from the dealers there now coming out around £112 for the knock sensor

Well changed the Maf yesterday,, still throws check light up and I lose power like it struggling,, the light will come and go,,off boost, or on boost,, low in revs, high in revs etc....... Done check and still brings up code 22 and 23??

Question is why???

Is it a case of the knock sensor coming up because off the Maf??
