Strange Scoob Spotted Near Prodrive !
#1
Just coming off the M40 at Junction 10 last night on the way home from work, and I saw a very strange Scoob, now I know it is not far from Prodrive, but it almost looked like a Prototype.
Essentially it was a MY 98 / 99 in dark Green with nice wheels etc and private plate ( read STEF ), but the whole of the lights and the front end of the car was covered in almost a black rubber / plastic. Now if this was some strange light configuration or new lightweight front end, I do not know but it looked very bizzare..
Please shed some light !!!

In Australia there was heated debate about the "car bra" effecting the air flow to the standard top mount intercooler.
Is he still evaluating the front mount intercooler or did he give it back?

Stef is one of the moderators.... he also runs the Track activities for the SIDC...
It is a car bra and it sounds like him... (it is covering a 'special bonnet' )
He is still around but you wont see him much unless you go to track days / trips etc.
Good Guy though!

Scooby Regular
LOL
Of course, the irony is that Stef got the bra to prevent stonechips, but it prevented the bonnet closing properly which then resulted in it wrapping itself over the roof and rather reprofiling it......I bet he'd settle for the stonechips now

Car Bra's are an Americanism that never took off here, because they look like most americanisms, poo! LOL
You dont want to see that front end without its bra at the moment.

.....and if you want to see it in action buy the "Cossie Killer at the Ring" video.
Very entertaining!
And no I don't know Stef personally before I get shouted at for plugging someones products.
For the record he also shot past me last year on the M23 at some obscene rate of knots.

they are actually designed cos in america in the heat there are a lot of insect and flies. the flies get splatted on the bodywork and because they are acidic its not good for the paint, so the car bra protects against stone chips and insects.
