Default Front Splitters

I have two options I can either purchase a cheaper Fibreglass front splitter or black type impact resistant PLASTIC one from HT Autos. I am running WRX Blob 05.

What do you have fitted & what are your experiences in terms of how well they fit, durability, longevity etc?

Also I wouldn't mind the front bumper spats but can you purchase them solely for a WRX or do they have to be made to fit?

Is it best to fit the spats first then the splitter or does it not matter?

Go for the HT one: they don't crack and when the paint is chipped, they show black, not stark white. Also they are lightweight and a bit more fexible.

I have their P1 version on my 98 classic with 99 bumper.

I'd never opt for GRP spoiler/splitters. Certailnly not splitters, where you'd expect it to hit speed bumps and bottom out occasionally etc.

ABS plastic - a fair bit less brittle and less prone to cracking/crazing I'd say.

If you plan on fitting the STi winglets you will need to get the STi splitter as the WRX splitter will not fit, The centre part is larger on the sti one to allow for the overhang on the winglets, I have a HTA on on mine

Not really coz I know I will get blacked flagged. Just bought some detailing products after seeing Gaz & Emma's black Hawkeye it looked awesome!

I just try to purchase some item once a month mate & hope she doesn't notice, I just acquired some mud flaps & I got the third degree. She forgets I bought her a caravan & kitted it out & spent far more on that than my beloved!
